Our Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven is affiliated with Yale Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center – one of only 56 in the nation. In addition to the flagship Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven, we have many cancer care centers across the region along with Smilow Cancer Hospital’s Greenwich Campus and our partnership with Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford. Bridgeport and Greenwich hospitals also provide comprehensive inpatient oncology services.

We offer the latest in screening and diagnosis, genetic counseling, treatment, psychosocial support, pain management, rehabilitation and long-term, follow-up care. Building on the scientific traditions of Yale University, we are dedicated to interdisciplinary cancer research in basic science, translational research and prevention and control. Our patients often have the opportunity to take advantage of clinical trials not available at most hospitals. Our expert care teams treat many different types of cancer, including rare conditions.
