Education

As Connecticut’s leading integrated health system of five teaching hospitals, a medical foundation and more than 20,000 employees, we offer a tremendous opportunity for postgraduate training in healthcare management.

The combination of five hospitals – Bridgeport Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital and Westerly Hospital, along with Northeast Medical Group, a medical foundation – allows us to provide comprehensive, cost-effective, advanced patient care characterized by safety, quality and service.

Formed in 1995 to enhance the quality of healthcare and scope of services to residents of Connecticut, eastern New York, southwestern Rhode Island and beyond, we offer a full range of healthcare services, in both inpatient and outpatient settings, from primary care to the most advanced treatments available anywhere in the world.

Teaching is an integral part of our mission, with innovation and excellence in patient care, research and service to our communities. Our comprehensive graduate medical education programs provide residents and fellows the opportunity to acquire the skills needed to provide safe, high-quality patient care with accountability, compassion, integrity and respect. Yale New Haven Health also offers system fellowships for those interested in postgraduate work in healthcare administration or financial management.
