Description |
Development of an EHR-integrated mobile resuscitation application that will enable automated documentation and empower providers to achieve guideline-based resuscitation metrics. |
Target Impact | This innovation proposal addresses a clear, unmet need with the goal of modernizing information flow into the electronic health record and improving the quality of care and outcomes for cardiac arrest patients. |
Project Lead's Vision | Successful project implementation will transform cardiac arrest care by creating a mobile application with embedded metronomes and real-time prompts for decision support to improve guideline adherence. In addition to directly advancing patient care and quality metrics during code events, the resuscitation application will enhance accuracy and minimize loss of critical data, streamline immediate information flow into the EHR, and facilitate data abstraction for national agencies. |
