When you need orthopedic care right away, Yale New Haven Health’s skilled medical staff is ready to provide a wide range of services and treatments for children and adults with non-life threatening injuries. We provide orthopedic services for adult and pediatric patients ages 5+. No appointment required.
Conditions we evaluate at our walk-in clinic:
During your visit, one of our experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will evaluate your symptoms and use X-ray imaging, if needed, to help diagnosis and develop a treatment plan. After your visit, our team will assist in scheduling any diagnostic procedures, advanced images and/or follow-up appointments that you may need.
An appointment with one of our orthopedic specialists during regular business hours is required if you are experiencing a workers’ compensation case, liability claim, auto accident injury/claim, have been evaluated at another facility for your current issue, have a chronic orthopedic condition or are looking for a second opinion for surgery. To make an appointment, call 877-925-3637.
The orthopedic walk-in clinic is unable to treat concussions, head and face injuries, joint infections, large joint dislocations, neck or back trauma, open fractures, post-op infections/wounds or rib injuries.
