Smilow Cancer Hospital - Waterford offers state-of-the-art cancer services in a facility designed with patient care, comfort and convenience in mind. Formerly known as the L+M Waterford Cancer Care Center, the building design incorporates input from patient advisors, cancer survivors, clinical and administrative staff, as well as architectural and construction professionals. The end result of this collaborative design process is a cancer treatment facility that offers the latest technologies in medical and radiation oncology in a comfortable, peaceful environment to support healing.

Breast Center

More women and men survive breast cancer than ever before thanks to advanced screening and diagnostic techniques that allow treatment to be tailored specifically to each patient. Smilow Cancer Hospital is at the forefront of providing innovative and compassionate multidisciplinary breast care, and access to the most advanced clinical trials in collaboration with Yale Cancer Center. Our expert team of specialists includes breast radiologists, breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons, genetic counselors, nurse specialists and patient navigators. Most importantly, patients receive personal friendly and confidential care that is designed to meet the needs of the whole patient, not just the disease.
