Tip of the Day

Receive daily health tips from Yale New Haven Health experts, including healthy living advice on topics like nutrition, exercise, sleep and medical care for your family.  

Enable Skills and Actions

On Amazon Alexa ...

  1. Go to the Yale New Haven Tip of the Day on the Amazon Skills store. Click “Enable Skill.”
  2. Open your Alexa app and search “Yale New Haven” in the Alexa Skills & Games section. Click “Enable Skill.”
  3. Say, “Enable Yale New Haven Health Tip of the Day” using your Alexa-enabled device.

On Google Assistant ...

  1. Go to the Yale New Haven Tip of the Day on the Google site. Click “Send to device”, and select the device you’d like to enable the skill on.
  2. Say, “Launch Yale New Haven Health Tip of the Day” using your Google Assistant or Google Home-enabled device.

Add to your Daily Briefing

On Amazon Alexa ...

  1. Go to Settings > “Flash Briefing.”
  2. Click “Get more Flash Briefing content.”
  3. Search for “Yale New Haven Health Tip of the Day.”
  4. Click on the link for the feed and click “Enable Skill” to add it to your Flash Briefing.

On Google Assistant ...

  1. Go to Settings > Assistant > “Routines.”
  2. Select a Routine and click “Add Action.”
