1 Million MyChart Enrollments

Yale New Haven Health and Yale Medicine are helping more patients than ever keep track of their health information in one place with the convenience of MyChart. More than 1 million patients have signed up for the MyChart portal.

MyChart gives patients safe and secure access to medical records, appointment information, lab results, direct messaging with providers and more. In addition to 1 million patients enrolled:

• 1,119,255 appointments have been made since January 2021 
• 1,108,664 messages were sent by patients to providers this year
• 898,895 virtual/video visits with a provider

“MyChart is central to our strategy for engaging with patients and enabling them to interact with us easily. We are privileged to serve these patients with digital access and tools that support their health,” said Lisa Stump, senior vice president and chief information officer for Yale New Haven Health and Yale School of Medicine.

Some online services can be notoriously difficult to navigate. However, the MyChart app has an updated user-friendly homepage, giving greater access to care to those who need it most.

MyChart features for patients include:

• Download and display COVID-19 vaccine status records, including access to a unique QR code
• Quick access to COVID-19 test results
• Virtual care for minor medical concerns using Video Care OnDemand
• Check-in and pre-pay for appointments online with paperless billing
• Request renewals for medications
