Payment Process

Prescription Claims

Even with insurance, you may still have to pay for part of the medication cost; this is called a co-payment. Your co-payment will be due when we set up delivery of your new or refill prescription. If your co-payment is more than you are able to afford, we can assist you with financial assistance options through our medication assistance program.

Medication Assistance Program (MAP)

The Medication Assistance Program coordinators are experts at assisting with financial issues. They can:

  • Determine if you qualify for assistance paying for your medications
  • Find out if help is available from a pharmaceutical manufacturer or a foundation related to your condition
  • Identify co-payment assistance programs and other reimbursement programs that can minimize your out-of-pocket expenses (applicability will vary by insurance)

Your Payment Options

Your MAP coordinator or specialty pharmacy liaison can help you arrange payment for your pharmacy copayment or deductible. You can make your payments by major credit card, debit card or electronic check. Please contact your MAP coordinator for more information on these options.

How to Contact Your MAP Coordinator

Call Specialty Pharmacy Services at YNHHS at 1-844-881-0043 (toll free) and ask to speak with your MAP coordinator. If you are calling after business hours, feel free to leave a voice message. All messages will remain confidential.
