Avi R. Gulrajani, MD

Dr. Gulrajani received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in 2001 and his medical degree from New York Medical College in 2005. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Vincent's Medical Center Manhattan where he served as chief medical resident. He completed a fellowship in Cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center where he received the prestigious program directors award in his graduating year. He is triple-board certified in General Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography. Dr. Gulrajani is a managing partner at PriMed NEMG Cardiology in Southeastern Connecticut where he also serves as the director of vascular imaging and director of nuclear cardiology. He has extensive experience in multiple areas of noninvasive cardiology including cardiac CT angiography, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, electrocardiography, and vascular imaging. He is passionate about providing his patients with state of the art care through a multi disciplinary approach to the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
