Benjamin Gold, MD

Benjamin Gold, MD is a board-certified adult Cardiologist with a specialization in non-invasive cardiology and cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear imaging, electrocardiography, stress testing, and vascular ultrasound. A passionate advocate of humanistic care, Dr. Gold is dedicated to building long-term relationships and helping patients to achieve optimal cardiovascular health.Dr. Gold was born and raised in Cold Spring Harbor, New York. He attended Amherst College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he also completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and advanced echocardiography at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Gold is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the American Heart Association (AHA).In addition to publishing clinical research, Dr. Gold is a medical writer, with a particular interest in understanding and appreciating the patient experience during intense journeys through the world of cardiovascular disease. His writing has been featured in The Houston Chronicle, KevinMD.com and others. When not in the office, Dr. Gold enjoys music, hiking, and going on adventures with his family.
