Carmen I. Carrión, PsyD, is a neuropsychologist who focuses on neuropsychological evaluations for patients with a range of conditions, including Alzheimer's disease, cerebrovascular disorders, Lewy body disease, frontotemporal lobar degeneration, and other neurocognitive disorders.
An assistant professor of neurology at Yale School of Medicine, Carrión’s research efforts center on memory and neurodegenerative disorders, examining how demographic factors influence the presentation of neurological syndromes. She is committed to ensuring accurate representation of disease populations in research and clinical trials, striving to address disparities in health care delivery.
Carrión received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University and completed her fellowship in psychiatry at the University of Michigan and her internship in psychology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami.
