David A. Brill, MD

David A. Brill, MD, a board-certified cardiologist, provides thoughtful, patient centered care for a broad range of cardiovascular issues. Dr. Brill is an expert in managing all aspects of general consultative cardiology. His goal is to combine over 30 years of clinical experience with new and emerging science and treatments to provide the best possible cardiac care.

Dr. Brill earned his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha society and received the Herbert J. Bartelstone award for his exceptional accomplishments in pharmacology. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. His clinical cardiology fellowship was completed at Yale University and Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Brill did research in molecular cardiology at the National Heart, Lung & Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as part of his fellowship. He has held academic appointments at Brown University School of Medicine in Rhode Island and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Michigan. Dr. Brill returned to Yale New Haven Health in 2016 to work at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and see patients in our Waterford, Connecticut office. He is board-certified in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
