Lori J. Cretella, MD

Lori Cretella, MD, a board-certified neurologist, treats patients with a wide range of neurological conditions with a particular interest in headache medicine. Dr. Cretella has a particular interest in helping patients get relief from chronic migraines and other headache disorders and facial pain. She spends a lot of time with patients to get to know about their sleep, diet, exercise, and other aspects of their lives. Every patient’s treatment is personalized. She uses other services, including physical therapy, sleep consultations, and imaging when indicated, and updates treatments as headache medicine and lives are always changing.Dr. Cretella received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She completed her internship, residency and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Brown University. She is board-certified in neurology and has a subspecialty certification in headache medicine from the United Council for Neurological Subspecialties. She enjoys jokes and riddles from her patients and in her free time, spending time with her children and being on the water.
