Michael Green, MD, is a primary care physician who cares for patients with HIV infection. He also supervises medical students at the Nathan Smith Clinic, which provides comprehensive services for adults living with HIV and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for at-risk adults who are HIV-negative to reduce their risk of infection.
Dr. Green’s research interests include assessment in medical education, evidence-based practices, and HIV medicine training. He has received regional and national awards for scholarship in medical education from the Society of General Internal Medicine. In addition, he was named a Kimball Scholar by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Green is a professor of medicine (general medicine) at Yale School of Medicine, director of student assessment at the Teaching and Learning Center, and director of clinical skills assessment at Yale School of Medicine’s Office of Education.
