Stephen B. Gross, MD

Stephen B. Gross , MD, is a board-certified Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon with a special focus on direct anterior total hip replacement, complex total hip replacements, partial knee replacements, total knee replacements and periprosthetic fractures and infections. Dr. Gross attended the University of Vermont where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He then attended medical school at the Dartmouth Medical School. After medical school, he went to University of Pennsylvania for his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery followed by three years as a orthopedic surgeon for Center of Musculoskeletal care at Yale University. Dr. Gross was the solo owner and orthopedic surgeon at Ninigert Orthopedics in Westerly for 17 years and was a partner with Active Orthopedics Associates in Westerly for 8 years. Dr. Gross was also a Major and Orthopedic Surgeon for the United States Air Force for four years. Dr. Gross is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons
