Yale New Haven Health Celebrates Expanded Access to Urgent Care in Hartford County

Glastonbury, CT (Nov. 22, 2024) – Yale New Haven Health (YNHHS) today celebrated the health system’s expansion into Hartford County at the Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Glastonbury. The clinic, located at 2955 Main Street, offers high-quality, professional care to residents in Glastonbury and surrounding towns in Hartford County.

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care, previously PhysicianOne Urgent Care, operates more than 20 urgent care centers throughout Connecticut and New York. In addition to Glastonbury, Hartford County locations include Bristol, Enfield, Manchester and West Hartford. The newly rebranded Urgent Care centers bring access to Connecticut’s largest health system closer to home for residents of Hartford County. Patients will benefit from coordinated care and easier referrals to primary, specialty, and sub-specialty services when needed.

Urgent care centers offer convenient access to high-quality treatment when an illness or injury does not require care in a hospital emergency department or an immediate visit to a primary care doctor is not possible. 

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care centers can treat wounds, sprains, strains and burns; complete school, camp and sports physicals; treat pediatric injuries and concerns including strep throat, ear infections, eye infections and flu; and perform X-rays for dislocated joints, fractures, and pneumonia; among other urgent illnesses and conditions.
