Congratulations to West Tower 7 (WT7) at Bridgeport Hospital, which joined the distinguished 1,000 Day Club after going 1,000 days without a catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI). “As an oncology unit, we have many patients who are immunocompromised and therefore considered highly susceptible to infections.” said Lauren Thayer, RN, nurse manager. “Going more than 1,000 days CAUTI-free is a true testament to the amazing care that our team provides.”
Congratulations to Greenwich Hospital's Neonatal ICU on their outstanding work and entry into the 1,000 Day Club. The NICU team went over 1,000 days without a central line-associated bloodstream infection, continuing to drive a culture of safety by providing the highest-quality care.
