Medicine/Sickle Cell unit earns YNHH’s first Capacity Champions Cup for patient throughput

On March 8, the Medicine/Sickle Cell unit (EP 6-7) received Yale New Haven Hospital’s first Capacity Champions Cup award – which recognizes units that meet their discharge target the most days in the previous month.

With new program, patients will receive hospital-level care – without leaving home

In June, Yale New Haven Health is scheduled to launch a program that will provide high-acuity, hospital-level care to patients in their homes.
