YNHHS Quarter Century Club inductees joined senior leaders in a virtual event celebrating their 25-year service milestones in 2019 and 2020.
Yale New Haven Health recognized 42 employees for 25-plus years of service, inducting them into the YNHHS Quarter Century Club on May 18. YNHHS Chief Executive Officer Marna Borgstrom and President Chris O’Connor co-hosted a virtual event to honor the employees for their dedicated service to our patients, colleagues and communities.
“Congratulations to all for your great work and your commitment to being part of Yale New Haven Health’s incredible mission,” Borgstrom said. “I don’t have to tell you about the changes you’ve seen in your careers, especially in our growth as an organization and our ability to support or provide direct patient care.”
“Over the past 25 years, there have been remarkable advances in health care and across our health system,” O’Connor said. “One of the great things you’ve contributed to in your careers is this innovation.”
Employees from various departments and delivery networks within the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Human Resources, Information Technology Services and Finance were inducted into the Quarter Century Club classes of 2019 and 2020. Two years of inductees were honored this year as the pandemic postponed last year’s celebration.
Borgstrom also recognized one of YNHHS’ longest-tenured employees, Paul Fappiano, senior supply chain coordinator, who celebrated a 50-year service milestone in 2019. “Paul is the definition of what it means to be a selfless contributor to our health system,” she said.
Congratulations to all employees who achieved milestone service anniversaries in the past two years. Visit the intranet to see which of your colleagues were newly inducted to the YNHHS Quarter Century Club.
