Hatfield, Maiorano
Marianne Hatfield, RN, MSN, has been named executive director of Nursing and Patient Care Services, Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. She joined YNHCH as director of Nursing and Patient Care Services in 2013 from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Since coming to YNHCH, her responsibilities have expanded to include children's Perioperative Services, outpatient Pediatric Oncology and General Infusion clinics in New Haven and Trumbull, the Family Resource Center and a Pediatric Sleep Study Program at the Bridgeport Hospital Campus. Hatfield is involved in several state and community initiatives, including the Wraparound New Haven CMS demonstration project with the Clifford Beers Clinic. She was recently invited to join the Chief Nursing Officer's Forum of the Children's Hospital Association. She earned her BSN at the University of Phoenix and MSN at Walden University, and is certified by the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
Conny Maiorano, RN, BSN, has been named patient service manager, Heart and Vascular Center Procedure Labs and Outpatient Recovery Area at Yale New Haven Hospital. She joined the Hospital of Saint Raphael in 2005 as a Surgical Intensive Care Unit nurse and also worked at YNHH as an Intensive Care Unit resource support nurse. During her YNHH career, Maiorano has worked as a charge nurse in Interventional Radiology in the HVC and assistant patient service manager for the HVC Procedural Area. She earned her BSN at Southern Connecticut State University and is pursuing her MSN at Chamberlain College of Nursing.
