Katie Donohue, RN, MHA; Kyle Ballou, Esq.

Katie Donohue, RN, MHA, has been named executive director, Women’s Services, YNHH, and Neonatal Intensive Care at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. She has served as director of Women’s Services, YNHH, since 2014, responsible for ensuring high-quality women’s health care encompassing Labor and Birth, Maternity, Gynecological Services and the Women’s Center at both campuses, as well as the High-Risk program at the York Street Campus. Donohue joined YNHH in 1996 and has held numerous clinical positions. She has also had a number of administrative roles, including patient service manager of Labor and Delivery/Maternal Special Care and off-shift administrator. In addition, she is nursing liaison to the YNHH-affiliated school-based health centers. Donohue earned her BS in nursing from Southern Connecticut State University and her MS in healthcare administration from the University of New Haven.

Kyle Ballou, Esq., executive director, Community and Government Relations, Yale New Haven Health System, recently earned the 2018 Spirit of Hope Award from Junior Achievement of Southwest New England. The award recognizes people who make lives in the community better through their enormous hearts, focus on others’ needs and devotion to the public good, according to JA. Before joining Yale New Haven in 1997, Ballou served as associate general counsel for the Connecticut Business and Industry Association, general counsel for the Connecticut State Medical Society and vice president of public policy for Fleet Bank. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, she earned her JD degree from the University of Connecticut.
