Monica Fradkin, RN, MPH; Melissa Turner
Monica Fradkin, RN, MPH, has been named director of Patient Services, Smilow Cancer Care Centers. She will continue to oversee clinical operations and program development at Smilow centers in Derby, Guilford, Old Saybrook, North Haven, Orange, Waterbury and Torrington. Fradkin has more than 25 years of oncology experience, including 12 years at Smilow Cancer Care Center at Yale New Haven. She has served in a variety of positions, including Practice and Education program manager, and for the past two years, clinical program director for the Smilow Network Care Centers. Fradkin earned her nursing degree from the University of Connecticut and her MPH from New York Medical College.
Melissa Turner has been named vice president, Human Resources, Yale New Haven Hospital. She joined Greenwich Hospital in 2007 as director of Human Resources and was promoted to senior vice president of HR at Greenwich Hospital in 2008. In 2012, Turner also became senior vice president of HR at Bridgeport Hospital and vice president of Talent Acquisition for Yale New Haven Health System. Turner earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of Kansas and completed the Wharton School of Business Executive Education Program for Leadership Development. She is pursuing her MS in organization leadership with a healthcare track at Quinnipiac University.
