Mindfulness challenge offers opportunity to reduce stress
If you’ve been looking for ways to increase peace of mind and improve balance in your life, Employee and Family Resources’ upcoming mindfulness challenge could help. During August, participants will receive a brief, weekly video and simple daily activities designed to help them establish a mindfulness routine. Benefits of regular practice may include reduced stress, greater resiliency and increased focus and concentration. Participants who complete the daily challenge for five days each week will be entered into a grand prize drawing. The EFR mindfulness challenge begins Monday, Aug. 3, and is open to YNHHS employees and family members. Contact Bud Wassell, EFR coordinator, at 203-688-2280 or
[email protected] to register. For more mindfulness resources, visit
Employee Well-being and Resources (in network only) or the
EFR website.
