New parking garage includes spaces for YNHH employees

Yale New Haven Hospital is leasing 641 reserved parking spaces in a new, privately owned garage at 149 Legion Ave. (South Frontage Road), with an entrance off Dwight Street. The YNHH spaces include 11 handicap parking spots and six spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles. YNHH’s Parking Department will begin notifying employees who are eligible, based on their parking seniority, to be reassigned to the new garage, including those who currently park at the Coliseum lot. The new spaces, along with reductions to parking and transportation costs announced earlier this year, are part of Yale New Haven’s 2020 benefits and compensation enhancements.
