Surgery center team earns state nursing award

The Center for Musculoskeletal Care McGivney Advanced Surgery has won the Connecticut Nurses Association 2019 Excellence in the Workplace Award. The award recognizes workplaces that promote professional autonomy, control over nursing practice and an enhanced work environment for nurses. McGivney Center staff were honored for integrating evidence-based protocols, lifelong learning and patient-centered quality outcomes into their practice.
