Anyoha, Turner, Manner
Sandra Anyoha, RN, DNP, has been named patient service manager, Yale New Haven Children's Hospital Short Stay and Neurosciences and Medical Specialty units. She joined YNHCH from Stamford Hospital, where she worked for 16 years in the Intermediate Care Unit and Maternal- Child units. Anyoha earned her doctor of nursing practice degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; and her MS degree in nursing and public health and BS in nursing from Hunter College - City University of New York. She is the founder of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses in North America.
Melissa Turner has been named vice president, Talent Acquisition, for Yale New Haven Health System. She will also continue serving as senior vice president of Human Resources for Bridgeport and Greenwich hospitals. In her YNHHS role, Turner will lead development of the health system's Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise, reporting to Kevin A. Myatt, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, YNHHS. Turner became senior vice president of Human Resources at Greenwich Hospital in 2007 and at Bridgeport Hospital in 2012. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of Kansas and completed the Wharton School of Business Executive Education Program for Leadership Development.
Dori Manner has been named director, Talent Acquisition, for Yale New Haven Health System. Over the past year, she served as interim director of Talent Acquisition for Yale New Haven Hospital. Manner joined YNHH in 2012 and has served as a senior human resources specialist. She earned her BA in liberal arts, with a concentration in communications, and her master's in human resources development from Villanova University.
