Was that a giant unicorn?
Yes it was, strolling the halls of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and waving to the scores of fellow employees decked out for the annual Halloween parade. But the real stars of the show were the patients, dressed in their own costumes and toting trick or treat bags that quickly filled with toys, arts and crafts supplies and other fun stuff. The event, organized and hosted by YNHCH’s Child Life and Arts for Healing, is hugely popular with employees from throughout Yale New Haven, who love nothing more than making kids smile.
