Keith Murphy has been named executive director, Corporate Supply Chain Management, YNHHS. In this role, he leads system-wide supply chain efforts, including analytics, contracting, procurement, inventory management, distribution and logistics operations. He also leads YNHHS' support of the Northeast Purchasing Coalition and the health system's affiliate relationships. Murphy joined YNHHS in 2004 as a senior contract specialist and has held a number of positions in Corporate Supply Chain, serving most recently as interim executive director. He earned his BS in business management from Albertus Magnus College.
Victoria Ogbejesi, APRN, MSN, has been named patient service manager, Psychological Medicine Service. She joined YNHH in 2012 as a clinical nurse in Centralized Staffing, after working for eight years as a psychiatric nurse for the State of Connecticut. She has been an off-shift nurse leader at YNHH and has worked with geriatric patients in a private healthcare/rehab facility. Ogbejesi earned her LPN at Bullard Haven Regional Vocational Technical School in Bridgeport; her associate's degree in nursing at the University of the State of New York (Excelsior College); and her MS in nursing — family nurse practitioner at Quinnipiac University.
Desmond Talento, RN, has been named patient service manager, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. Previously he was regional manager of Patient Care Services in Hartford HealthCare's East Region (Backus and Windham hospitals), overseeing the Critical Care Unit, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Radiology, Nurse Residency Program, nursing supervisors, Resource Center and Float Pool. Talento earned his BScN from the University of British Columbia and will graduate with his MSN from St. Joseph's College in May 2016.
