Bridgeport Hospital, in partnership with the Bridgeport Department of Health and Social Services, is planning a summer “Walk ‘n Talk” series focused on postpartum health on Saturdays from 9 to 10:30 am at Seaside Park, 1 Barnum Dyke, Bridgeport. All events are great for any fitness level and ability and are open to anyone interested in attending. In partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, Bridgeport Hospital hosts a biweekly mobile food distribution every other Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:15 pm at 200 Mill Hill Ave. This summer, food distribution will take place on Wednesday, July 12, July 26, Aug. 9, Aug. 23, Sept. 6 and Sept. 20.
