Yale New Haven Health’s Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) opened a new multispecialty center at 1152 Kings Highway Cutoff in Fairfield with a Sept. 9 virtual ribbon cutting hosted by Prathibha Varkey, MBBS, NEMG president and CEO.
“The opening of this new facility further enhances our commitment to provide care to people in the communities where they live,” said Dr. Varkey. “Conveniently located off of I-95, the Merritt Parkway and Route 1, and five miles from Bridgeport Hospital, this location is easily accessible, with plenty of parking, making it very patient-friendly.”
The new, 25,000-square-foot facility has 45 exam rooms and three procedure rooms for some 30 providers in a number of specialties including family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, obstetrics-gynecology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pulmonary and sleep medicine, urology, ear, nose and throat surgery, and colorectal surgery.
The center is also home to a laboratory blood draw station and X-ray services. All the providers and services are affiliated with Bridgeport Hospital and Yale New Haven Health. For information about and/or referrals to the providers, call 888-357-2396.
