Congratulations to Oliver Aubin of Norwich Free Academy and Mahi Patel of Fitch High School, who recently received $25,000 scholarships sponsored by L+M Hospital as part of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Trust Fund.
Aubin and Patel were among 12 scholarship recipients honored during a ceremony at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Each winner was chosen after a rigorous selection process that measured traits such as character, academic excellence, community service and an understanding of Dr. King’s mission. Oliver Mayorga, MD, L+M’s chief medical officer, presented the scholarships and congratulated recipients at the event.
