APEC takes initiative to customize the APP experience

Yale New Haven Health’s Advanced Practice Executive Council (APEC) is launching a new, tailored orientation program called the Transition to Practice (TTP) program for recently hired APPs working in inpatient and ambulatory settings across YNHHS. TTP is open to all experienced APRNs and PAs who are new to the health system. Enrollment is open for the first cohort, which begins Jan. 22, 2025. Register on Learning Management System (LMS) via Infor. Search for Transition to Practice Program.

APEC members, working with the Institute for Excellence, developed the in-person learning program to focus on instruction unique to YNHHS, including topics such as use of Care Signature Clinical Pathways. Quarterly sessions will address the nuances of different practice settings across YNHHS, enhance practitioners’ clinical and non-clinical skills, and build a network of support among APPs.
