U.S. News & World Report recently recognized Yale New Haven Health’s Grimes Center as “high performing” for short stays.
The recognition is based on the quality of care a nursing home provides patients who have been released from the hospital after a stroke, heart attack, infection, accidental injury or other conditions.
U.S. News rated more than 15,000 nursing homes in the country based on patient and resident outcomes such as infection rates, staffing levels, health inspection results and other quality indicators.
The 114-bed Grimes Center provides skilled nursing care to patients recovering from elective surgeries or sudden illness. It is staffed by physicians from a wide range of specialties, specially trained nurses and physical, occupational and speech therapists. Visit the Grimes Center to learn more.
