New Employee Resource Center opens for COVID-19 questions
YNHHS has launched a new Employee Resource Center at 1-844-543-2147, Option 2, for COVID-19 questions. Employees should no longer call the COVID-19 Call Center. The new Resource Center has Occupational Health professionals available 7 am – 7 pm seven days a week to answer employees’ questions about exposure, testing, vaccine reactions, quarantining, return to work, travel and other topics. With a dedicated line for employees, the new Resource Center can provide information in a timely and efficient manner. Due to an overwhelming response from the community, the COVID-19 Call Center (833-ASK-YNHH) is now dedicated to patient and community vaccination needs.
Free volunteer tutors available for YNHH employees
Are you struggling to manage work responsibilities while trying to navigate online learning for your child? Perhaps your child is preparing for college and could use assistance with college essays or resume building. YNHH’s Volunteer Tutoring Program can help, offering assistance for children in grades 5-12. Each child will be matched with a college volunteer who has been fully vetted by Volunteer Services and previously contributed hours to hospital volunteer programs. The volunteer tutor will work with you and your child to determine which virtual platform (Zoom, Skype, etc.) and schedule will work. For more information, contact Devin Giguere: 203-688-3299 or
[email protected]. This program is available to YNHH employees only.
