New workflow for patient education materials will be available in Epic

On March 3, YNHHS is scheduled to launch an updated integrated workflow with Emmi patient education printouts and videos. 

The new workflow is an integration of Emmi Patient Education Resources/Clinical References that provides patient-specific recommendations and allows for searching, previewing and assigning multi-media materials. With the upgrade, patients can receive evidenced-based content via printed materials, patient portal or email on their preferred device. 

“This will bring more consistency to provider and patient education and help YNHHS meet the growing demand for more-accessible content that is aligned with our care signature,” said Rebecca McCray, RN, executive director, Nursing Operations, YNHHS.
