All employees are invited to a YNHHS Patient Experience Press Ganey workshop, “How to improve ‘Likelihood of Recommending’ for all roles and settings,” 11 am - noon Thursday, March 23, via Zoom. The workshop will offer tips for employees and medical staff on improving the patient experience so patients are more likely to recommend the organization. Check the employee intranet for the Zoom link and passcode.
Anyone interested in participating in or volunteering for the Sept. 9 Closer to Free (CTF) Bike Ride is invited to a launch party, noon - 5 pm Sunday, March 26, at Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ, 470 James St., New Haven. Sign up at the launch party to ride or volunteer and you will receive an official CTF long-sleeved t-shirt. To RSVP for the launch party, register for the ride or sign up to volunteer, visit rideclosertofree.org. All Yale New Haven employee riders receive half off the registration fee (employees pay $50 for adults and $25 for students/youth). Use the code EMPLOYEE23 and provide your employee ID number at registration. Proceeds from the CTF Ride benefit patient care and research at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center.
Employees are invited to help community members in need by donating toiletry items during a collection drive to benefit New Reach of New Haven, which helps people affected by homelessness and poverty. Recommended items:
Collection boxes will be in the York Street Campus Atrium and Clinic Building (guard desk across from Bank of America ATM/entrance); Saint Raphael Campus cafeteria entrance; and 2 Howe St., main floor (by security desk).
