Raising the flag to raise awareness

In honor of National Donate Life Month this month, Yale New Haven Hospital leaders, employees and medical staff joined representatives from New England Donor Services for an April 6 flag-raising ceremony outside the York Street Campus entrance. The ceremony is one of a number of activities Yale New Haven Transplantation Center planned to recognize the importance of and need for organ donation. Employees are invited to participate in Blue and Green Day Friday, April 14 (employee dress code applies). These colors signify support for organ, eye and tissue donation awareness.
