YNHHS Innovation Awards applications being accepted
All Yale New Haven Health employees and Yale University faculty are invited to participate in the YNHHS Innovation Awards. Proposals are now being accepted for creative ways to tackle unmet clinical needs in one of five focus areas:
- New care delivery models
- Care anywhere
- Health equity
- Automating the enterprise
- Big data
Selected top proposals will receive grant funding of up to $150,000. Visit ynhhs.org/innovation for more information, including how to submit a proposal.
YSC employees invited to participate in COVID study
YNHH York Street Campus employees are invited to participate in a one-week study to help researchers understand how COVID-19 spreads in the hospital. The study, which runs May 30 - June 5, will assess COVID-19 risk factors among healthcare workers by examining contact patterns in the hospital. When it comes to COVID-19, don’t let your guard down
YNHHS continues to see increasing levels of COVID transmission across Connecticut and Rhode Island. YNHHS Infection Prevention experts say, be thoughtful about how you protect yourself and your family:
- Be cautious about indoor events where physical distancing may be difficult
- Wear masks even if not required
- Make sure your vaccinations are up to date, and if eligible, get your second booster
