On Sept.13, the IRMA website used to submit Information Technology Services work requests will transition to the enhanced ServiceNow self-service portal: https://yalenewhavenhealth.service-now.com/. Employees will use ServiceNow for software, hardware, web services, projects and other requests currently made via IRMA. In June, the ITS Service Desks for Yale New Haven Health and Yale University consolidated their self-service request portals to make submitting and following up on requests easier. Requestors can check the status of their requests via ServiceNow.
From car rentals to concert tickets, cell phone services and more, employees can take advantage of discounts and valuable voluntary benefits. The offers are part of YNHHS’ comprehensive benefits program, the focus of a webinar Sept. 21 at 2 pm. “Learn about Voluntary Benefits and Discounts” will include time for Q&A from attendees. Check the intranet for the Zoom link and passcode. Employees can find the list of offers and benefits on the HRConnect portal. Visit the intranet, use the pull-down menu under Departments & Communities, click the letter H to select HRConnect. Once on the home page, go to Health Benefits and select Benefits & Wellness.
Materials Management is now responsible for replacing used adult code carts and airway boxes at the York Street Campus (this process was already in place at the Saint Raphael Campus). For a replacement, call the Service Response Center, 203-688-9000. Nurses must apply a blue lock to the medication drawer on the carts before pickup. For more information, see your nurse manager or professional development specialist. The replacement process for pediatric and neonatal code carts has not changed.
