Lucian Del Priore, Lori Lee, Vikki Winks
Lucian V. Del Priore, MD, PhD, has been named chief of Ophthalmology, Yale New Haven Hospital. He is also chair of Ophthalmology and Visual Science and the Robert R. Young professor and chair, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Del Priore earned a medical degree with distinction in research from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and an MS and PhD in physics from Cornell University. He completed a residency in ophthalmology and fellowships in vitreoretinal surgery and glaucoma at the Wilmer Eye Institute of the John Hopkins Hospital. He served on the faculty of Washington University School of Medicine and Columbia University. He was also chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and director of the Storm Eye Institute from 2011 - 2016.
Lori Lee, RPh, has been named vice president, Pharmacy Services, and chief pharmacy officer for Yale New Haven Health System. She joined Yale New Haven Hospital over 25 years ago and has held numerous leadership roles in the hospital and health system, most recently serving as executive director, Corporate Pharmacy Services, YNHHS. In that position, her accomplishments included spearheading the growth of specialty pharmacy services, creating a system pharmacy governance structure and standardizing pharmacy automation systems at Bridgeport, Greenwich and Yale New Haven hospitals. In her new position, she will continue to oversee the design and operation of the medication use system and direct pharmacy services at all delivery networks. She earned her BS in pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island and her master's in healthcare administration from Simmons College, Boston.
Vikki Winks, PT, has been named director of Rehabilitation Services for Yale New Haven Hospital and Bridgeport Hospital. Winks joined Bridgeport Hospital in 1998 and served as associate director of Rehabilitation since 2015. In her new position, Winks will oversee the Physical and Occupational Therapy service for Yale New Haven Hospital, including its two campuses and various outpatient sites. She will also oversee Recreational, Art and Music Therapy and Rehabilitation Services for Bridgeport Hospital. Winks earned her bachelor's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in Australia.
