Deborah Rhodes, MD, has been named Yale New Haven Health vice president, Care Signature. Before joining YNHHS, she was a professor of internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where she also led the development of the Clinic’s ambulatory care pathways and Executive Health Program. Dr. Rhodes earned her MD from Cornell University Medical College and completed her residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins, where she was also a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar.
Lisa Rioux, RN, MSN, has been named clinical program director for Yale New Haven Hospital Medicine Ambulatory Services. She joined YNHH in 1988 on a Renal-Medical unit and has held several nursing positions, including nurse consultant in Operations Support and, for the past eight years, patient services manager of a Pulmonary unit (EP 10-7). Rioux completed the Yale School of Management Executive Program and also serves as a professor at Charter Oak State College.
Ian Schwartz, MD, has been named Yale New Haven Health senior vice president, Clinical Operations, and the health system’s first chief clinical operations officer. Dr. Schwartz joined Yale New Haven in 2006 and has served in a number of leadership roles, including Yale New Haven Hospital medical director of Emergency Medicine and executive director for Care Management and Clinical Redesign, and YNHHS vice president, Clinical Operations. Dr. Schwartz remains clinically active as an attending in the Department of Emergency Medicine in New Haven. Dr. Schwartz earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency training in emergency medicine at YNHH and Yale School of Medicine.
Gayle Slossberg, JD, has been named Yale New Haven Health vice president and chief compliance and integrity officer. For the past year, she has worked with YNHHS to identify, assess and implement opportunities for disability inclusion, and will integrate and expand that work with the Office of Compliance and Corporate Integrity. Slossberg previously served for 14 years in the Connecticut State Senate, where she served in a number of leadership roles, including co-chairing the Education and Housing committees, and chairing the Committee of Government Administration and Elections and Commission on Enhancing Agency Outcomes. Slossberg earned her BS degree from Cornell University and her Juris Doctor from New York University Law School.
