Rebecca Bathrick, RN, DNP; Deirdre Russo, RN, MSN
Rebecca Bathrick, RN, DNP, has been named patient services manager, Digestive Health Ambulatory Services. In this role, she collaborates with physicians at Yale Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center in Fairfield, North Haven Digestive Health Center and the bariatric multidisciplinary team to ensure a consistent care signature, patient access and clinical support for the Digestive Health ambulatory sites. Since joining YNHH in 2012, Bathrick has served in a number of positions, including service line educator for Perioperative Services and, most recently, assistant patient services manager, Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Operating Room. She earned her BSN from Seton Hall University and her MSN and DNP from Sacred Heart University.
Deirdre Russo, RN, MSN, has been named patient services manager, Heart and Vascular Center Procedure Areas. She joined Yale New Haven Hospital in 1997 as a Surgical Intensive Care Unit nurse, and has held a variety of positions in Yale New Haven Health System since, including assistant patient services manager for the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, clinical value analysis nurse for YNHHS’ Northeast Purchasing Coalition and, most recently, performance improvement coordinator for the HVC service line. Russo earned her BSN from Southern Connecticut State University and her MSN from Chamberlain School of Nursing.
