Hospital employees had as much fun as the kids during YNHH days at the New Haven Police Activity League’s summer camp in July. Around 250 youngsters participated in events at Wilbur Cross High School, including demos from YNHH radiology, ORs, physical and occupational therapy and other departments.
Campers learned about safety, drug and alcohol prevention and nutrition, and older children got tips from YNHH leaders on preparing for a career, resume-writing and interviewing. YNHH participates in two PAL Camp days each year.
