Lisa Stump has been named senior vice president and chief information officer, Yale New Haven Health System and Yale School of Medicine (YSM). She has served as interim CIO at Yale New Haven Hospital and YSM for the past year. Stump joined YNHH in 1996 and has held a number of roles of increased responsibility, including director of Pharmacy, administrative director in clinical informatics and vice president, Epic Project. Before becoming interim CIO, she was associate chief information officer, leading integration of Information Technology Services staff across YNHHS. She has also led consolidation of multiple technology platforms in bed management, infection control, laboratory information and blood bank; spearheaded the pilot and launch of the InSight Tele-ICU platform; and launched several innovation partnerships with technology and applications vendors. She holds a faculty appointment at Sacred Heart University in clinical informatics. Stump earned her BS in pharmacy from the University of Connecticut and her MS in pharmacy from The Ohio State University.
Carol Codeanne Teixeira, RN, MSN, has been named patient service manager for the Yale New Haven Children's Hospital Inpatient Pediatric Unit and Pediatric Primary Care Center at the Bridgeport Hospital Campus. Teixeira has held many leadership roles at Yale New Haven and Bridgeport hospitals, including assistant manager of the Emergency Department and nurse manager of Internal Medicine at Bridgeport Hospital, and director of nursing for the YNHH Adult ED and Shoreline ED. She was most recently coordinator of Nursing Practice, Policy and Procedure at YNHH. She earned her BS and MS degrees in nursing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield and is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
John Sward, RN, MSN, has been named patient service manager, Heart and Vascular Center Observation Unit (EP 5-7). Since joining Yale New Haven Hospital 25 years ago, he has held several leadership positions in different areas of the hospital, including serving for the past two years as PSM for Washington Square 3 at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital and for the Emergency Department Psychiatric Observation unit. Before that, he was PSM for the York Street Campus Adult Emergency Department. Sward earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and his MS in nursing from Yale University.
