While performing an EKG, Shirley Jackson, ED technical assistant, thought she felt a lump in a patient's breast. She showed attention to detail and practiced a questioning attitude, expressing her concern to the physician assistant. The patient received treatment and follow-up that might otherwise have been delayed.

A team from Interventional Radiology: Edith Campos, RN, (center), Lakiya Nichols, interventional radiology technician, and Raj Ayyagari, MD, worked together to make a Great Catch. Before conducting a procedure, Campos, Nichols and Ayyagari practiced a questioning attitude by reviewing a patient's chart and making further inquiries, verifying all testing needed so that the patient did not have to undergo a second intubation.
