In partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, Bridgeport Hospital continues to host a biweekly mobile food distribution every other Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:15 pm at 200 Mill Hill Ave. in rear parking lot. Upcoming distribution dates May 1, 15 and 29; and June 12 and 26. Please bring your own reusable bag. Each person will receive one allotment of free and nutritious food while supplies last. The American Heart Association’s infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course will enable families, friends and others who care for infants to learn the core skills of Infant CPR and relief from choking. Infant CPR Anytime! will be held on May 6 and other dates throughout the spring and summer at 6 pm at 267 Grant St. and will be led by a certified CPR instructor. A take-home kit includes a personal practice manikin, a CPR Skills Practice DVD, and a Quick Reference Skills Reminder Card. This is not a certification course.
