The 2022 YNHHS Accreditation and Regulatory Update conference will be held 9 am - 1 pm Wednesday, May 25, and Thursday, May 26, via Zoom.
The program, which focuses on regulatory requirements from The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other regulatory agencies, will include a review of new and challenging standards, frequently cited areas of risk and everyday regulatory readiness.
Presenters will be Vizient Accreditation Advisory Services consultants, along with Yale New Haven Health staff, who will share strategies for the application of selected regulatory requirements across the system. Topics include infection prevention, suicide risk, resuscitation, workplace violence, medication management, patient environment of care, life safety and emergency management.
The target audience for the conference includes management, Nursing (including Nursing Professional Governance), medical staff, Risk Management, Pharmacy, Quality and Safety, Human Resources, Infection Prevention, Social Work, Facilities, Engineering and anyone who interacts with patients and clinical care units.
