Ani Aydin, MD, was recently named the Air Medical Physician Association’s Medical Director of the Year. Dr. Aydin is the medical director of SkyHealth in Connecticut and the first medical director of Yale New Haven Hospital’s Ground Adult Critical Care Transport (ACCT) program. The award recognizes Dr. Aydin’s work in building the ACCT program while serving as the sole clinical leader and educator. Dr. Aydin is also an attending physician in YNHH’s Emergency Department and Surgical Intensive Care Unit. She earned her MD from State University of New York at Stonybrook, completed her residency at Bellevue-NYU Langone Medical Center, and a surgical critical care fellowship at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
