Employees are invited to stop by and learn about programs and equipment at the 48 York St. center. Membership is open to all YNHHS employees, health system retirees and contractors, along with faculty, staff and students at Yale School of Medicine, Yale School of Nursing and Yale School of Public Health. During National CPR and AED Awareness Week June 1-7, YNHH employees (clinical and non-clinical) and physicians are invited to participate in a marathon that aims to surpass the world record of continuous chest compressions:
A registered participant will perform up to two minutes of chest compressions during a designated time frame. Neighboring areas can share a session. Resuscitation Management will be on site to coach high-quality compressions. We need at least 660 participants each performing two minutes of chest compressions to surpass the world record currently held by India. Insulin vials dispensed by Pharmacy and stocked in Pyxis or Omnicell have a 28-day expiration date on label(s) affixed or flagged on the vial. When vials are refilled or loaded into Pyxis or Omnicell, the closest 28-day expiration date for the vial(s) in that pocket is input. Pharmacy runs an outdate report every day. Any insulin vials with input expiration on that day are unloaded or replaced. Questions?
