All hospital departments are invited to apply for up to $10,000 in Yale New Haven Hospital Auxiliary Project Grants for fiscal year 2024. The deadline to apply is June 30. Requests should be for projects that are not covered by department funding and directly benefit patients and their families. Submissions must be approved by the department’s executive director or vice-president. Project grants may not be used for gift cards, taxi vouchers, bus passes, meal vouchers for patient families, gifts to patients, prescription costs for patients, positions or salaries or food supplement and home monitoring equipment. For more information and to request the application, call 203-688-5717 or email [email protected].
The phone number to schedule patient transportation by ambulance, wheelchair van, Veyo or taxi is now 203-200-3456 for all patient care units at all YNHH campuses. The hospital’s transportation line will direct callers to the appropriate transportation vendor based on location.
